PROGRAM: Recycling And Community Clean-Up Program

LOCATION: Asrama Anak-Anak Yatim Damai, Kuang, Selangor
The Recycling and Community Clean-up at Damai Orphanage, Kuang was organized by MPU 3472 Group 2 students to promote environmental awareness and sustainable practices within the community. The program involved community clean-up activities, basic recycling education, creative workshops using recyclable materials, interactive games, and knowledge-sharing sessions with the orphanage residents. This initiative supports Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3: Good Health and Well-Being by fostering a cleaner and healthier living environment, and SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities by encouraging responsible waste management and community participation. The program also strengthened social responsibility, environmental values, and positive interaction between university students and the local community.
